Chi Hullo Li

Chi Hullo Li, operated by the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma in Talihina, provides long-term, culturally sensitive residential substance use and addiction treatment for Native American women age 18 and older, with or without children. The program supports women and their families through a holistic approach to recovery that incorporates cultural and spiritual identity, physical and emotional wellness, education, parenting, and family healing.

Residential treatment includes substance use recovery services, relapse prevention, individual and group counseling, family support, parenting education, life skills development, health education, and culturally based activities. The program is designed to provide a supportive residential environment where women can address substance use while strengthening their overall well-being, family relationships, and recovery skills.

Applicants must have a CDIB and meet the program’s substance use disorder and admission requirements. Choctaw Nation tribal members may apply regardless of where they live. Members of other federally recognized tribes may also qualify but must reside within the Choctaw Nation service area. A telephone screening and admissions application are required, and court-related cases or referrals are considered individually.
