HINAꞋ CHOKMA “GOOD ROAD” Chickasaw Nation Residents, Chickasaws At‑large

HINAꞋ CHOKMA “Good Road,” a Chickasaw Nation program, provides culturally guided, trauma-informed residential substance use and addiction treatment for adult First American men. The program provides a supportive residential community that incorporates cultural connection and addresses spiritual, emotional, physical, and social wellness while helping participants work toward recovery from drug or alcohol addiction.

Each participant receives an assessment and individualized treatment plan. Services include individual, group, and family therapy; case management and navigation services; clinical and social withdrawal management; addiction education; relapse prevention; experiential therapy; nutrition and wellness education; tobacco cessation education; domestic violence prevention services; and educational support, including high school equivalency services upon request.

Good Road serves eligible First Americans age 18 and older who have a CDIB or citizenship in a federally recognized tribe and have a desire to become free from addiction. Medical or mental health assessments may be required as part of the admission process. The program serves eligible individuals within the Chickasaw Nation service area as well as Chickasaw citizens living outside the Chickasaw Nation’s boundaries.
